Jamie Wood is a passionate Bible teacher, speaker, and author from San Diego, California, with over 20 years of experience in Women’s Ministry. Her journey has included serving alongside Anne Graham Lotz in Raleigh, North Carolina, and helping lead the Women’s Ministry at Shadow Mountain Community Church with Dr. David Jeremiah. Jamie is the Founder and President of Discovering Truth Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping others learn, love, and live out God’s Word through practical teaching, encouragement, and biblical truth. As an author, Jamie has written three impactful books: From Barrier to Breakthrough, an Amazon best-seller that inspires readers to overcome obstacles through faith; Truth Talk, a 365-day devotional designed to guide believers into a deeper daily walk with God; and Flourish: A Journey in Pursuit of Abundance, an 8-week, video-driven Bible study which invites readers to experience the full life God has promised. Through her writing, speaking, and ministry, Jamie’s heart is to equip and encourage others to grow in their faith and stand firm in God’s truth. When she’s not busy teaching, writing, or leading, Jamie’s greatest joy is spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their two very energetic boys, David and Daniel. She also enjoys hosting dinner gatherings for friends and immersing herself in her next writing project at charming coffee shops.
